Hiking Spa: Vermont
Killington, VT (PRWEB) May 13, 2005 — New Life Hiking Spa opens its doors today for its twenty-seventh season. Founded in 1978 by fitness and nutrition expert, Jimmy LeSage, M.S., the spa has used hiking as the backbone of the program for almost thirty years.
New Life is opening its doors this year with a new fitness pavilion, new dining room, private swimming lessons, afternoon cooking workshops and two certified Pilates teachers. In addition, New Life has added a workshop to its evening lecture series with Don Banks, PGA Professional. Mr. Banks’ workshop will identify and conquer resistance to our personal goals.
This year also marks the five year anniversary of the 11 day weight loss retreat. Through hiking and other coordinated and facilitated physical fitness activities, wellness education and special interest programming, healthful cuisine and professionally administered body work, the Weight Loss Retreat lasts 11 days or longer and allows spa-goers to make real changes in their eating habits and lifestyles. Guests are educated about health enhancement, enabling them to take the healthy habits home and implement them into their individual lifestyles.
